A l’appel de 44=BREIZH et Bretagne Réunie, environ un millier de personnes se sont rassemblées devant les différentes préfectures de Bretagne pour dénoncer la nouvelle carte des régions issue de la réforme territoriale.
A Brest, Rennes, Quimper, Vannes, Saint-Brieuc, Saint-Nazaire et Nantes, les manifestants ont demandé le droit de pouvoir décider des limites de leur région et de prendre en compte la revendication d’une Bretagne à cinq départements. En effet, la nouvelle carte des régions présentée par l’Élysée est la conséquence de jeux de pouvoirs au sein du PS et n’a pas laissé la place à un débat populaire et à l’émergence de véritables espaces régionaux.
A Nantes, les manifestants ont envahi la cour du Conseil Général de Loire-Atlantique aux cris de “démocratie pour la Bretagne” et “Vichy* c’est fini : démocratie” pour réclamer le droit à un référendum départemental sur le redécoupage.
