For once I agree with a commentator on Slugger.
Obama’s narrative was without doubt set in an all Ireland context. Not a word about a UK narrative, that was left to the minority English PM.

Agreed, it was very much a repetition of “island” with “UK” as that other place. I’m surprised Unionists have not focused on this assault on their Britishness. Actually, no I’m not 😉
