No Respect In Bradford For Journalists

A fake shop in Enniskillen in the British Occupied North of Ireland - a fake economy to match a fake state
George Galloway

Interesting report by Ben Judah for the European edition of the current affairs site Politico on his recent encounter in Britain with George Galloway’s controversial Respect Party and some of its less then welcoming supporters. In many ways the organisation, which appeals to a strong ethnic atavism amongst recent immigrant communities in the UK stemming from decades of perceived (and actual) discrimination, is a mirror image of the ethno-nationalist UKIP group led by Nigel Farage. Of special note are the claims that the Labour Party in Bradford has effectively done a deal with their Respect rivals to carve up the city into mutually beneficial constituencies, Galloway running in Bradford West and Labour in Bradford East.
