Despite a somewhat haphazard campaign to question or undermine the veracity of the latest tranche of leaked emails from the Gmail account of the former United States’ secretary of state, Colin Powell, there seems little doubt that the private communications belong to the ex-US Army general. While the missives cover everything from the inherent racism of Donald J. Trump to Israel’s possession of some two hundred nuclear weapons (“all targeted at Tehran” and partly explaining Iran’s determination to acquire its own nukes, albeit more for show than deterrent), some of the most scathing language is reserved for Powell’s successor at the State Department, Hillary Clinton.
One particular batch of emails released by the hacker group DC Leaks has bolstered the Beltway belief that the Clintons Inc. never forgave Barack Obama for defeating Hillary in the 2008 presidential primaries for the Democratic Party. In the view of the former Arkansas dynasty the senator from Illinois “stole” the White House from them when it was, to use their phrase, “Hillary’s turn“. Among the recent leaked documents is this series of exchanges between Colin Powell and corporate financier and Democratic Party mega-donor Jeffrey Leeds.
From Powell to Leeds:

Nasty, in more ways than one. This is Jeffrey Leeds on Hillary Clinton in a message sent to Colin Powell.

Ouch. As a side note, a fair portion of the hacked communications by Colin Powell are devoted to the ex-secretary bitching about Hillary Clinton scooping up the hefty fees available from colleges and universities, not to mention major corporations, for speeches and after-dinner talks. Apparently celebrity appearance money is the prime motivator for many in the American political classes when they leave office. As others have observed, Jimmy Carters are few and far between.

The fact she hates Obama so much she can’t even speak his name says much about how bitter,petty and arrogant she is. Hopefully she has one of her famous 5 minute coughing fits from her ‘allergies’,’overheating’,’dehydration’,’pneumonia’,’flu’ or whatever lie she invents for her health problems during the debates so she is kept out of office for good which will save millions of lives in the long run.
