At first I thought this was a joke, but no, this is actually a Sinn Féin initiative to drum up new members and publicise the party’s growing support. I know SF is competing against the pristine “white paper envelopes” that underwrite Fine Gael, and the slightly grubbier “brown paper envelopes” that sustain what’s left of Fianna Fáil, but this is just feckin’ surreal… Tiocfaidh ár Lató!
