In the run-up to last November’s presidential election in the United States, Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski, the hosts of MSNBC’s popular Morning Joe show, garnered a reputation for playing footsie with businessman-turned-candidate Donald Trump. Their regular on-air chats during the campaign season did much to boost their ratings and his reputation. Though the relationship turned sour in the weeks leading up to the election itself, the months thereafter have seen the pair acting as effusive apologists for the real estate tycoon’s wayward White House administration. However things have well and truly taken a turn for the worse as this report from the Guardian points out:
Donald Trump attacked the hosts of MSNBC’s Morning Joe on Thursday, making an especially crude reference to anchor Mika Brzezinski “bleeding badly” from a facelift.
The president fired off at Brzezinski and co-host Joe Scarborough in a series of tweets posted just before their morning show was drawing to a close.
“I heard poorly rated Morning Joe speaks badly of me (don’t watch anymore),” Trump wrote.
“Then how come low-IQ, crazy Mika, along with Psycho Joe, came to Mar-a-Lago three nights in a row around New Year’s Eve, and insisted on joining me. She was bleeding badly from a face-lift. I said no!”
What goes around comes around. And if Donald Trump wags his pudgy little finger don’t be surprised if you see the duo go running once again to the, ahem, Winter White House.

This is why I love Trump. These scumbags have been lying about and attacking Trump for 2 years. They can’t take a little of their own medicine. The media pretend to be victims. They are not. The media got America into Iraq war. A war Trump wisely opposed. The media influence elections. They lie and manipulate. They get people killed. CNN have fired half dozen of their employees for threatening or lying about Trump.Trump is doing great. He got his travel ban enforced which will keep Americans safer. He is doing fantastic.

Yeah but the Morning Joe duo were allies of Trump, more or less, for the last two years. Or at least they lent him a very sympathetic ear. Nothing like a love scorned.

I didn’t vote for Trump or his opponent, but the US media’s sudden awakening to the need to be a government watchdog for the public is hypocritical and off-putting. Its job is to be a watchdog no matter who is in power, not just someone they don’t personally like or who won’t play along with them.

Very true. We all remember the media cheerleaders for the invasion of Iraq, the way prominent journalists and newspapers unquestionably disseminated false information to justify the war, and so on. Even when some of them had serious questions in private. The whole world is dealing with the repercussions of the deception behind and around those events of the early 2000s.

And now those same media attack Trump everyday and lie about him. That doesn’t make you suspicious? The attacks on Trump remind me of the media lies about Iraq. There is even dodgy dossiers made up about him.
