Adam Savage Builds Replica Binoculars From Blade Runner 2049

For all its flaws, I greatly admired last year’s cinematic release, Blade Runner 2049, Denis Villeneuve’s sequel to the 1982 science-fiction classic, Blade Runner. So, I must admit to enjoying this recent video from the nerdish website Tested, featuring the host Adam Savage – late of the much-missed American-Australian television show, MythBusters – building a replica of the futuristic binoculars used by the lead character in the 2017 film. Yes, I know. Big toys for big boys (though my youngest sister would say, for girls too!). But if you saw the amount of geek and cult memorabilia I have around my home you’d understand why.
